Drew Barrymore is one gorgeous woman, and a celebrity, of course. But at home, with the kids, especially during times of the Coronavirus quarantine, she is just like any other mom around the world, struggling to find the right balance between it all. You have to love the kids but not spoil them, spend time with them but make them independent, educate them but not overburden them...Moms (and dads, of course) the world over are stuck at home, minus any house help, and struggling to make sense of it all. So whether its a working mom or celebrity or just the woman next door, we are all in the same boat, struggling to parent the kids in a good way.Photo: Spending the time all day long with children it is hard but also joyful time for actressDrew Barrymore has been in the news recently over her reaction to becoming much more involved as a mom due to the Coronavirus quarantine. She has been sharing regular updates on social media with fans and even had an exclusive interview where she had the chance to share how's she's handling the adjustments. And for all those who think everyone else is doing it better, Barrymore had some truth to share. She said, "The minute I thought, Oh, I’m three weeks in, I’ve got this, I cried every day, all day long... It was like every church and state. It was the messiest plate I’ve ever held in my life to be the teacher, the parent, the disciplinarian, the caretaker."Apparently, things are tough. Drew says that she has been crying every day, 'all day long' over how difficult homeschooling and caretaking has been. We get it, mom's got a tough gig.“Happiness is a war you fight every day and the victory is if you accomplished any of those wins, that is a win. I march in the army of optimism and I am looking for recruits, but I am very real about it. I am not some vapid hippie who’s like, You just gotta be happy, man. This is the way and the direction I will point my compass.”
