Hollywood superstar and singer Jennifer Lopez (50) had been set to marry her longtime fiancé Alex Rodriguez sometime soon, but has been forced to put those plans on hold due to self-isolation regulations because of the coronavirus crisis.

"It did affect it a little bit so we will see what happens now," Lopez revealed to Ellen DeGeneres during a video interview filmed for the home-based version of her talk show.

"I really don't know what's going to happen now as far as dates or anything like that. We're just kind of in a holding pattern like the rest of the world, so again, it's something we're just going to have to wait and see in a few months how this all pans out."

While Lopez may prefer to wait, DeGeneres had a suggestion of how the singer and actress can still get married, and entertain her fans all over the world at the same time. As couples across the world are forced to put their special day on hold, some have opted for virtual weddings, whether over video calls or social media.

The 50-year-old Second Act star didn't completely reject the suggestion, giving all of us hope that we might get to enjoy the special occasion from the comfort of our own homes.

“Do a TikTok wedding?” Lopez laughed. “Something to think about. We can’t make any commitments right now.”
